Zeliosoft power outage issue
Hello all,
just an amateur here with a zelio issue. very basic cascading program ( ladder ) with 3 inputs , 4 outputs and couple timers. The issue that Im having is that when a power outage is simulated, only half of my program actually resets. I dont have any latching items in the entire program, not doubling up my relay coils. I read the info on " How the smart relay behaves in the event of power failure " and I didnt see anything in there to help other than check all my items for Latching.
Also, what file format must my program be in order to attach a file??

M580 DTM Browser
Hi all,
I'm having an issue with EcoStructure Control Expert where when using DTM browser I try to connect but I get a message "No Ethernet/IP device at specified address...." My issue is that I had a device communicating using modbus but it has stopped and I cannot diagnosis the issue. I can ping the address and run a modbus poll from a PC on the network and everything performs correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

''INVISIBLE'' buttons in PROFACE

I am doing PROFACE HMI touch screen projects, and I recently came up with an problem. I am using GP-PRO EX software to program and then later I would transfer the project to my PROFACE GP-4501TW. Now I came up with a problem, on one page there is no buttons on labels that I had written, But when I check it on the software its still there. So, its like I have buttons programmed but not showing on the touch screen! Also I can touch the buttons and it beeps and using WINDLDR I had found that the button works but that its somewhat hidden. Later I found out that LAMP FEATURE was turned on that caused the ''invisible button'' to happen. So, when I turned LAMP FEATURE OFF the buttons would return on the touch screen. I tried Preview, Simulation mode but all that showed the buttons. I have attached he pics below

Somachine ethernet port
Hello, i need more information about possibility to connect a LC28 CPU with OpenVPN with Mikrotik.
I checked tecnical information about TCP port and i wrote the NAT routes on the Mikrotik. I saw a little exchange of bit over 1217 and 1105 ports, but my Somachine (installed over VM) coudn't connect with PLC.
Everything works fine with a local connection.
We haven't any problem with other PLCs and our VPNs (Siemens, B&R, Mitsubishi).
Someone have more information about TCP/UDP ports about Somachine protocoll ?

Advantys STB to Omron
I am trying to connect an Advantys RIO island with a STBNIC2212 ethernet/IP to a Omron CJ2 PLC. I need an EDS-file for the Omron Network Configurator but the Advantys Configuration Software will only export to .xsy for NIC2212 (Ethernet/IP), only way to get an EDS is to substitute the NIC with a NDN2212 (DeviceNet), but I doubt that will work in the Omron Network Configurator. There is an EDS file on the SE-website, but it seems to be a different setup than my island. I thought ethernet/IP should be easy :( Any suggestions?

Moore APACS DCS - Upgrade Experiences
Facility where I recently started working has several "ancient" Moore APACS DCS systems. The resident guru/expert has announced that after 40+ years with the company he'll retire next year. The existing engineering team I joined was slowly converting from APACS to ControlLogix and this effort will get more attention now obviously. Recently our Schneider Service Rep mentioned that they have an upgrade path for APACS to current tech with no re-wiring required. The presentation was impressive as you would expect. But I am wondering, anyone out there who has actually worked Moore APACS and Upgraded to Schneider Ecostruxure and care to share your joys and heartaches of that trip?

HMI Data transfer to PLC
Hi there! I'm trying to communicate HMIS5T HMI with a Modicon Micro TSX3722001 PLC.
The communication is OK, but whenever I try to enter some data into a numeric display I get an error that says "Method or function in Communications System unsupported" and data won't change on PLC's Animation Table. Also, if I modify a variable's value in PL7 Pro, the value in the HMI numeric display won't change properly. It displays the last digit of the binary format of the number (let's say I write a "3" on PL7 Pro, then I get a "1" on the numeric display, despite all data types being UINT, and all ranges are OK. Then if I write any number which binary version ends in 0, I get that 0 on the numeric display, nothing else. Again, all data types and ranges are OK).
Changing variables' source on Vijeo Designer to Internal doesn't seem to work. So I'm wondering what else must I do in order to send and receive data from/to HMI and PLC?

TSX AEY414 Problem
Dear All,
TSX AEY414 was installed on a machine and was working fine. suddenly module becomes faulty and its ERR LED tuned ON
we replace the new same module and the new module was showing the same error
we replace the 3rd new module , this worked for 8-12 hours fine. now the situation is that RUN LED is on of the module, but values on HMI display remains 0.0
can anyone help me please?

Unity Pro - M580 and Tesys-T over 2-wire Modbus
Does anyone out there have any experience with setting up communications between a Unity processor (I'm using an M580) and numerous Tesys-T LTM R Modbus controllers over 2-wire Modbus? I am stuck and have been unable to get a resolution from Schneider support. I'm not sure if there's an issue with the setup of the Tesys-T modules, the EGX100 gateways being uses, or with my program setup in Unity. I've stripped down my program to one gateway and one Tesys-T, but still cannot establish communications. I don't get any errors. I just don't get any response at all. Any experts out there who might be able to help me out?

M221 PLC with Kinco GL070E HMI
Hey! Whats up guys ;)
I'm a student and I have been saving up money for PLC for quite a while now, I was recommended to use Schneider M221 TM221CE24R PLC. after buying it I looked online for some HMI and due to high price tag I ended up buying cheaper Kinco GL070E HMi for learning :D
I'm trying to connect them both together using Ethernet cable but I'm having difficulties making them connected.
The lights shows up ( blinking green ) and ( solid yellow ), I have tried Modbus TCP Slave, Schneider Ethernet (TCP Slave), M series, M200 Ethernet ( TCP Slave ), but nothing seems to be working :D
The best I got in 3 weeks of trail and error and countless non-english videos on youtube :D is error message on the HMI -> [2] PLC NO RESPONSE 0-01-03
I'm trying to learn and seems like I have hit a wall. Can anyone help me to see if it is even possible to connect them or do I need to save up for new HMI :(

SoMachine control Powerflex 525 over Ethernet/IP
Hi Guys
I'm using the Control_ATV block to control all the Altivar drives, but now I have a Powerflex 525 installed into the system (M241 PLC). Who has successfully controlled a Powerflex over Ethernet/IP from Somachine, or CoDeSys? I have installed the EDS file for the drive, but I'm confused on where to next regarding either a control block, or another wat to control direction/speed etc.

MOdicon M221 into Citect SCADA 7.2
Hello,
I need to replace an obsolete twido PLC to Modicon TM2221ME32TK and in the process would like to get the variables back into Citect SACDA V7.2
I have been reading up on REad_var and write_var but am seeking clarification on how to get the existing %MW, digital inputs %I0.0 etc and outputs %Q0.0 mapped into modbus registers so SCADA can read them.
I intend to use modbus TCP/IP communcations with the ethernet/ip adaptor.
Do i need to use read and write_var to map into the addresses?
Please find attached existing PLC code.

Modicon TSX - %S4,%S5,%S6,%S7
Hi there
Could anyone explain to me how these status bits work please?
Fo instance %S6 is a 1 second pulse and %S7 a 1 minute pulse. Do these just give a rising edge pulse after 1 second and 1 minute, or are they set for a full second / minute?
