Hi, I am new to Vijeo.
The task is to show different messages on HMI screen (I use Vijeo designer V6.2.5 and Magelis HMIG3U). A new string variable "ToDoTxt" was created as an Array with dimension 2048. A StringDisplay was put on the screen and ToDoTxt[0] was chosen. How can I show other 2047 values, which depend on value of another integer variable "StepNumber"?
Hi, We purchased a copy of Schneider Tele PL7-07 software from a 3rd party vendor to communicate with a TSX Nano, but when we install it, it's coming up saying that we're missing disc3. We've gone back and forth numerous times with the vendor, they say it works on their side, it doesn't work on ours.
It's a long shot, but does anyone have the 3rd disc that they could send me the file from, or point me to someplace where we can download it?

When I try to open the a project ,the error " Failure opening Reference Data Editor template file" ,does this mean the project is corrupted or missing files?
Hi my dear colleagues,
I tried to configure data location for the text file used with text display. It works if loaded to main drive. But, if I point to secondary or optional drive the system doesn't even allow me to download the program to HMI. Error 1850..secondary drive not found.
I noticed in the property inspector, that the windows for Secondary and Optional drive are grey. The Vijeo Designer V6.2 and HMIG3U with three USB ports (one mini and 2 usual) and one SD port are used.
May be, they are all disabled somewhere, with a hardware switch? But, even if the windows were active, I have no idea, what to put into them, to configure SD or USB as secondary or optional drive. Please, help.

New to programming but I am trying to develop a lead lag pump program using PID from 4-20ma level transducer to vfd's for each pump. I have a basic program but cannot get the either drive to start when the setpoint has been reached and I feel that something isn't right with the pid aspect. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having issues with M340 IO scanning. I have the NOE card next to the CPU which is a 2020 item. I have set the Network for the CPU as 192.168.0.5 and the NOE card as 192.168.0.12. To the NOE card I have connected a Deep Sea Electronics 8610 MkII generator controller which has configurable modbus pages. Its IP is 192.168.0.3. I have set the IO scan tab of the NOE to read the device at 192.168.0.3 starting at remote address 442497 (Page 166 of the DSE, 166*256). for 80 registers and to store them in PLC at %MW300 onward. When compiled this read works perfectly with values being loaded. The problem comes when I try a second read from the same device. This time Page 167 (167*256) at address 442753 which is sent to local PLC %MW380 onward. Now when I compile the code the first page is read OK as prior but the second read shows a "Faulty/Absent" on teh IO scanner debug page and no values are read. If I change the first entry to scan page 167 with page 166 deleted, again all is OK. It seams I am unable to make more than one read of the DSE product. I have spoke with DSE whom state the device can have multi reads from multiple masters and they have proved multiple reads from the same and different devices. I am now at a loss as to what to try next. I hope somebody can provide some insight. I also tryed doing teh second read with a standard READ_VAR command with teh same result. Just wondering if its a NOE thing or a set up thing I have missed.

I'm really needing some advice on how to test a Wonderware InTouch HMI . The backstory is I've been given a job to upgrade an InTouch HMI to the current version - WonderWare InTouch 2017. It communicates with an Allen Bradley / RSLogix 5000 PLC through RSLinx. OPCLink is also involved. I did some Wonderware InTouch work a good few years ago in a Siemens & Software Toolbox environment but I have no experience with Allen Bradley / RSLinx / RSLogix technology, and have no documentation or working setup to consult. RSLinx seems really unintuitive by comparison to the TOP Server stuff I'm used to, but I suspect that's just me not knowing how to use it.
I need to find a way to run the HMI application on my dev PC and force or spoof the middleware tags in order test that the migrated HMI is still working. There are a couple of other issues:
Most of the Access Names use OPCLink. Seemingly OPCLink does not work with InTouch 2017 and the recommendation is to replace that with OI_Gateway. I have no experience of this either.
The version of RSLinx I've been told it uses is RSLinx Classic Lite but I can't find where to create topics in that and believe that the Lite version is a hugely cut-down version with minimal functionality. My concern is that it maybe uses a more featured version which has functionality currently missing from my set up which is using Lite. I think there is a .rsx file which I believe is an export of RSLinx topics. I have tried to import this but have I am not convinced that it has worked. There's alos a .opf file which I believe is a TOP Server topics export.
It's turning into a bit of a nightmare scenario. I really need someone to advise me please on what software setup I need to run up this HMI, together with an OPC server, some middleware and a means of forcing the tag values. I need to do this while leaving the HMI as it will be in its live environment and believing that it's communicating with an Allen Bradley PLC through its existing topics.
I suspect I need InTouch WindowViewer, OI-Gateway, RSLinx - or maybe TOP Server - and maybe something like Matrikon OPC Simulator or similar for setting the values. I'm not sure where OI-Gateway fits into it all I have to say.
I really need a 101 refresher on it all but am out of time on it. If somebody could tell me in really basic terms something like - you need this software. Connect X software to Y software and do this in this order then I would be massively grateful. I'm at a stage where I would happily pay someone to tell me but I can't find anything on line which directs me to such facilities.

I have a vision system that is logging images via FTP to a computer running a published InTouch application (Wonderware 2014).
I would like to add a feature to the application to display the last captured image to aid in debugging the vision system.
I suspect I would need to write a script that periodically checks a folder for images and retrieves the most recent image. Can InTouch be extended to display an image based on a file system address?
Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated!

I have tsx pcx 1031 cable and have com port on one PC and on the second i have connector to this cable with usb.
when i try xway test i have problem , the request is always 0 .

I am using PLC TM221CE16R and SoMachine Basic v1.6. My PLC has firmware 1.6.0.1. I use analog expansion bus, input module TM3AI8. Everything was working fine for 2 hours until suddenly I got next message in SoMachine Basic: I/O expansion configured but is absent or inoperative. I/O expansion bus is not started.
Since then ERR LED is always blinking. I already tried deleting program, updating firmware, removing expansion module in configuration page, removing/adding physical module, selected module as Optional, removing battery - nothing helped. If I try removing application, ERR LED is still blinking. Seems like I can't delete previous program, something like config file is burned into PLC.
On the other hand: if I write some simple program, PLC works fine. It turns on/off relays correctly. Just expansion bus is not working. It is not working even if it's not configured or attached physically to PLC.
Can anybody please help me? It is really frustrating.

I am looking for a solution to connect a PC to a modbus plus network for my HMI. The old option was to use an SA85 card but is there something better. Ideally ethernet I/P to Modbus Plus Converter if there is such a thing. Does anyone have a recommendation that they have used.

I want to count rotation time or cycle. I am using bellow code in the picture. If I set timer 10 ms, when counter working well, but I set timer 1 ms the counter working same how set timer 10 ms. I have question in my code is slow timer or counter and somebody give me advice how need count the rotation ms accuracy.

I have one value which i need ti give as an input. But after every 10-20 secs value changes from "+ve to -ve"
so what I need to do is If the value is "+ve" It should pass as it is and if it is "-ve" value should change into Positive .
