I have problem with install a PL7-2 software for programming TSX17 First installing a user interface from floppy is OK When I start installing a program then apperars error Fatal Error :214 C:\XDOSSYS\HLP\*.* What is the reason for this? I'm making a program to controlle mutliple machines. But the problem is that i'm working on 2 plcs to controll it all, but there are some %MW that i need in both PLCs. Is there a way to connect the PLCs so they share these %MWs to both PLCs know what value is in it?

PL7-Ethernet
Hi,
I'm having trouble configuring this PLC to be able to communicate via Ethernet. The CPU is a TSX 57453, and the communication module is an ETY 110.
I can connect to it using the TSXCUSB485 and download a program just fine, but I don't quite understand how to configure the module to be able to communicate with the PLC via Ethernet, I've read the module guide and the PL7 guide but I'm still not getting how to do it correctly.
This is what I have done so far.
- I have configured an IP address, a Subnet mask and a gateway address in the module (ETY 110)

Tried to ping the IP address of the PLC and is not working. - I have configured the XIP driver (although I don't know if I needed it to communicate with the PLC via Ethernet), setting the local host XWAY address and all the info for the remote host (XWAY and IP address).
Any comments?, thanks.

I have managed to ping the IP Address, now the problem is configuring the PLC Address in PL7, the help document says the following:
The network address syntax is as follows:
(network no. station no) module track no. PL7 address
(network no. station no.)SYS
{network no. station no.} = network address and destination station on FIPWAY (this part is omitted if the PL7 to be accessed is not on the FIPWAY network).
PL7 module.track address = UNI-TELWAY address (module = 0 or 254, track no. = 0 terminal point or 1 for the communication card, PL7 address = 0 to 98).
SYS = access to the system gate (or UNI-TE server) of the destination PL7.
Note
Using the number 254 as a position when communicating between slaves allows it to stay on the same UNITELWAY bus by optimizing exchange routing.
Example
{0.2}0.1.3 = PL7 having 3 for an address on the Unitelway link of the module 0 communication card, track 1 of station 2 on network 0.
SYS = default address of the PL7 physically linked to the terminal.
So the question is how do I set up the XIP address?
I have tried to put the same remote address as the one that the driver manager has. but I get a pop up saying "The channel number must be 0 or 1".

Communication between PC and Schneider M340 PLC
Hi...I having schneider m340 plc and having Unity Pro XL 7.0 version. I connect PLC PC by USB cable. When I plugged, it connects with PLC and I have set address perfectly and I tested the communication it shows you communicate successfully with target. After I upload the program, transfer prohect from PLC is in disable condition. How should it rectified

Do Schneider PLC's support Modbus TCP/IP?
Hello
I need to use Modbus TCP/IP to control drive, at the moment I am trying to use Siemens. I was wondering if it would be easier to use a Schneider, their website says the communications are TCP/IP. Not sure if they mean Modbus TCP/IP. I will only use a Schneider if it natively supports Modbus TCP/IP.
I found this picture. Which would suggest it does.

TSXFPC10 to TSXFPP20 communication problem
Hi fellows forum members, I'm an IT tech from Australia. One of my customers has a Morbidelli Author 500 using NUM 1020W PLC.
TSXFPC10 card is plugged in and is recognized by the PC, but the TSXFPP20 PCMCIA card is not being seen. Both LEDs on the FPP20 card are on (ERR and COM), and according to the manual the card is said to be faulty. So before I purchase the card I'd like to find out if anyone had experience with these cards and what is your opinion of the situation. The program that installs with the drivers has testing function. It has no problems communicating with FPC10 card in the PC, but it can't see the FPP20 card.

I'm new to Proface and need help with analog input programming
Hi everyone, my boss has recently decided that he wanted to start using proface hmi and ladder logic for projects. The model were using is the LM4301TADAC. Im really new to proface programming and I'm struggling with trying to get an ifm effector pressure transducer programmed in analog on this. How do you program analog inputs and get them to work with the GP-Pro Ex software?

Elementary Variable M580 H
Dear all,
I'm first time using M580 (hotstandby).
Now finish the configuration, but the problem is how to write the address for Digital Input, Digital Output, Analog Input, and RTD module in elementary variable ?
I try to put name DDI_1 and the address is same with M340 topology like %I2.1.0.1.1 and for digital input but got message after build :
{Elementary Variables} : The instance is located on an address that isn't configured. : DDI_1

PROFACE HMI AND SIEMENS TRANSMITTER
Greetings everyone,
I have a Proface HMI(LT-4201TM Modular type DIO) connected to a siemens flow transmitter(MAG6000). Communication between these two devices is using modbus.
The modbus register that im using to get the data/reading of a totalizer from siemens transmitter are 403022 and 403023. I managed to display the exact totalizer value from siemens transmitter on the Proface HMI screen.
But I couldnt get the exact totalizer value at the ladder logic side, the value that i get at the ladder logic side seems like a raw value.
For an example, the totalizer's value is 147083(real value), but at the ladder logic side the value for 403022=15598 and 403023=17316.
Can anyone guide me to solve this issue.

Need Copy of PL7-07
Working on a dumbwaiter that has a Modicon TSX nano plc with a Square D reversing contactor. The unit will not run. Have already checked and/or bypassed all the interlocks and still cannot get the unit to run. Can manually trip the contactor to make motor work. No error lights on PLC. Looking to up grade PLC. Do not have copy of PL7-07 to get copy of program off unit. Cannot find a copy anywhere. Do not want to have to rewrite program, but looking like that is what I will have to do. Any help or ideas.

Schneider Altivar 630 VFD program problem - fan auto start
I am configuring new Schneider Altivar 630 VFDs to replace mature, obsolete Altivar 61 VFDs. The drives have a simple function in life...analog input (thermostat scaled through trim pot) running a fan/blower. If main power is available, VFD is to run to analog input scaling.
VFD powers up correctly, but will not auto-start unless the analog input is removed first. I have not found the parameter in 698 page manual that cures the issue, yet.
