I would like to connect a Micrologix 1100 with Citect 7.5 via ABMLXEIP (updated to latest version). I tried everything and it is still not working.
The Citect and the PLC are on the same subnet and the ping works fine. All the configuration is done as the manual says (I attach the pictures). I have one NIC card and is connected to the PLC. The role is setted to “Server and Control Client”.
The kernel has this error:

I'd like to ask for a technical confirmation on using MODBUS TCP in a M340 + Fiber Converter Card (BMXNRP0200C) or Switch (ADAM 6521) + Fiber Optic patch cords and cable topology to communicate with a SCADA system.
The main objective is to provide a fiber optic connection point inside a control panel because it is located in a area prone to electrical interference. The protocol to be used would be MODBUS TCP. We have two simple topologies in mind but we are not sure if they are feasible. So i'm asking for a little support about it.
Considering the attached simplified topologies (Drawing1.jpg), am I able to use MODBUS TCP to communicate a M340 with a SCADA workstation with no problem? I'm not sure if the protocol allows this kind of change on the physical medium like if it was pure Ethernet.

Using the manual I have most of it worked out, but there is one aspect I can't find reference to at all. Why are some of the timer references in inverse text? e.g.
M1----T1----T3-----t4----------------[M2

Can you tell me how do you connect or Software HMI Proface ( Gp2500) support PLC Delta ?

Hello, I am using Easymodbus library to Communicate with Modicon TM218 PLC. Reading and Writing of Holding Registers working fine. But coming to writing of single bit in data register i am facing Problem. Need to know how we find coil address of a data register. e.g I have to write bit 1 to MW70.1 address. How we do that. Right now i am reading complete MW70 Register and Manipulating it using bit manipulation techniques and again Writing using Write single Register Function. It's working but some times because of reading problem it writes some garbage values. At that time complete system effecting.
Please provide me any solution.

I want to establish Ethernet IP communication between the following PLC CPUs.
Schneider Electric - BMEP582040
Honeywell - ControlEdge UOC CPU900-CP1.
Where the Schneider must be master and Honeywell must ne adapter.

I need to back up a program from a Modicon Quantum PLC and according to the information I have been given, this was configured using Unity Pro XL 7.0 .

I need to program a pump to run based on the level in a holding tank. The start/stop set points change throughout the day based on the time. For example, function for the start set point is 1.15372×10^-6 x^6 - 0.000114068 x^5 + 0.00448866 x^4 - 0.0883477 x^3 + 0.877893 x^2 - 3.57417 x + 7.5, where x is in hours. How can I access the PLC time (current hour and minute) so I can use them to calculate the set points? Does Unity Pro XL have pre-defined variables for these?
I can read registers of one soft starter, I tried to read registers of four soft starters using a M221 PLC but I can't! Please anyone explain me on these MSG1/2 to read all the soft starters' registers using a master PLC (M221)

I have a project that I must create shifts for heating elements, requiring that some heating elements, those who were on for the longest period, do not turn on in the next shift.
I'm looking for a sorting mechanism to determine what %MW (6 words of 8 total) have the largest value.
I would like an array of 8 words, sort them, and retrieve the highest 6 or highest 4 or highest 2.

I'm quite new to this all but here goes.
I have a SR2 system that manages a hydronic heating system, coordinates demand and valves, etc
I was wondering if there is a function in ZelioSoft that would allow me to measure how much time a valve is open (how much time a command is active). So after the heating season, I could see where the demand was in the system (in hours).
So far, the function I've seen do not allow this. (Counter will activate when there is a demand, but will not account for time).
Anybody knows if this is actually feasible ?

As I'm at power plant project, we had PLC system with Vijeo Citect 7.3 licensed.
As I'm newbie into this automation, doing my best to complete the project.
AS I need you support to get resolved my project and my query.
Query 1)Unable to get meter reading through plc to scada.
Query 2)PLC gets and err blink and its not communicating as two plc available, one working perfect and other gives err blink after reset.
Kindly help me out
