Trying to create a cumulative timer with zelio soft 2 for a SR2B201BD
So, whenever the plc receives a pulse (coming from a coin acceptor) it adds x amount of time, whenever receives a second pulse, adds x amount of time to the time left on the timer.
This is a timer for a self serve car wash. Used to work with Ecostruxture Machine and a TM221, but do to a stock break on the supplier and time sensitive project was forced to change to a sr2.
Can't seem to make the transformation from my program on ecostruxtur to the zelio.
Any help?

I have the notebook FTX 417 and I would like to open a PL7-3 project.
Program is on the floppy disk but I do not understand where to find the ladder instructions of the code ?
I have .BIN, .XR1,.VRS ..... folders, but where is the code ?

I have a very special question for all experts in the old TSX-PLCs. We got about 20-30 TSX87 (and some 107) running in a big Ethway-Network.
Our Maintenance-Service is using an old PC with OS2 and PL7-3 for troubleshooting and programming the PLCs.
Is there any way to run a OS2-Virtual Machine on a Win10-Host PC and get the Ethway-Protocol routed inside the Virtual Machine?
We managed to get OS2 and PL7-3 running inside the VM, but we fail to get the Ethway-Connection inside of it. We use some PCI Ethway-Cards. I don't know the exact name of the card in the moment, but if it is necessary for an answer i will find it out.

Hi I have a problem with uploading from a M340 P3420302, I think the problem is Å,Ä,Ö and yes I have Swedish installation on my computer.
Procedure: I connect with IP (my computer is set to same network) and choose "Transfer Project from Plc", and I got to program to my plc, but I also got over 500 errors. I have tried to change to Unicode in project settings/Variables, didn't help. Since its changing back.
Schneider support says rewrite all variables and text that has Å, Ä, Ö. But I have this problem on several Plc and the external people that this before I was employed is not contactable. It's acritical machine so, the question is: Anybody hade this problem and found a better solution than rewrite it?

Need some information about the correct procedure of replacing an I/O TM2AMI4LT module.
My problem: have 3 same modules TM2AMI4LT and I think someone changed their position. Now the system is showing multiple errors on HMI display.
Therefore, machine stays on hold, safe lock.
What I like to know is;
Do I need to upload the application of the system after I have replaced a I/O module ?
Second question: If I replace a I/O TM2AMI4LT module for a new one, does the system will function as before after startup, this without an upload?
Last question: Does an I/O TM2AMI4LT contains a “fixed” software address, once programmed?

I am working on project where we integrate Omron Microscan Barcode reader to Schneider M218 PLC to read Barcode text. In Microscan we enabled TCP/IP and Port number. From scanner Data coming properly. But coming to PLC I am using Read_var function to Read Data from scanner. I am not getting Scanned text in PLC. Is there any alternative function to read TCP/IP with Port Number Data to read using PLC?

we want to upgrade some of our old TSX87 PLCs to new Schneider M580. My boss gave me an order to make a plan.
My basic idea is to only use a M580 processor and some communication cards. For the I/O we want to use some Beckhoff bus couplers. So we got the possibility to convert our old Grafcet to new ones via software by Schneider. But if **** hits the fan we only have to change the processor and can use another system like Siemens or Beckhoff without changing the I/O devices.
My problem now is, that i don't know what bus i should use. I can't find many informations about the supported busses that the M580 is using or i can't find informations if a specific bus is working with it. I would prefer the Ethercat bus by Beckhoff. Can somebody say if it is working with the M580 processors or do i need to use some special communication card for it?
Maybe someone used it already in this combination.

In Zeliosoft FBD programming, is there a way to insert or redirect a line to place a function along an existing wire? Or do you have to clear the wire, and then reattach the wire origin to the new function input, and the new function output to where the wire terminated before (assuming you can remember?)
Facility where I recently started working has several "ancient" Moore APACS DCS systems. The resident guru/expert has announced that after 40+ years with the company he'll retire next year. The existing engineering team I joined was slowly converting from APACS to ControlLogix and this effort will get more attention now obviously. Recently our Schneider Service Rep mentioned that they have an upgrade path for APACS to current tech with no re-wiring required. The presentation was impressive as you would expect. But I am wondering, anyone out there who has actually worked Moore APACS and Upgraded to Schneider Ecostruxure and care to share your joys and heartaches of that trip?

New to Schneider PLC's. Purchased Schneider Concept 2.6. Installed on older XP laptop. Software loaded fine on the laptop. The PLC I am trying to connect to and save the existing program is a Schneider Momentum PN 171CCC98030 through the 9 pin port. The ethernet port maybe locked up. I have (2) questions:
1) What is the correct Cable and Part number needed for this
2) What is the steps needed to save the save the existing program that is in the PLC. Need to save it on my laptop.

I have this hardware configuration of an extension rack for a M580 PLC projet using EcoStruxure Control Expert

And I am trying to rename the DD1602 card using the file, however, when I rename the card as a show in the next image (selected in green), and re-change the file to the .XHW extension, when I re-import it into Control Expert, I get an error saying: unknown fatal exception, even though the only change I've made is to the name of the card.
I know I can rename IODDTs instances manually in Control Expert, but in fact I'm trying to automate the process of renaming IODDTs because I have a lot of IODDTs to rename, which is why I thought of using the XHW file.
Does anyone have an idea of what I could do?

Thanks for welcoming me to this forum, I am glad to be a part of the Mr. PLC community, finally.
I have an issue with transferring licenses from the XTEL "Disquette de Autorizacion" to the XTEL software. The whole system from OS/2 to Telemecanique XTEL v6.1 seems to have installed successfully, all on a legacy system boasting a massive 500MHz Intel processor and 256 megabytes of RAM. I can create a project and follow the process all the way through to the final stage before connecting with the PLC. At this point it doesn't seem to matter what option I choose to try and connect with the PLC, all end with "NO SOFTWARE ACCESS RIGHTS" "PROGRAM COMPLETE". Having read an incredible amount of related posts across many forums; this forum offering the best solutions; I now humbly seek help from the good people of this wonderful PLC community.
There are certain people on this forum with a tremendous knowledge of OS/2 and XTEL installations, and I hope to attract the attention of these fellow engineers.
I already have a lot of respect for those who post here as you choose to give your time to help the wider community of engineers, fitters and programmers alike, saving the day in most cases, so thank you all in advance of your continued help and support.
PS. I'm ready the manual "cover-to-cover" this evening.

I am using PLC TM221CE16R and SoMachine Basic v1.6. My PLC has firmware 1.6.0.1. I use analog expansion bus, input module TM3AI8. Everything was working fine for 2 hours until suddenly I got next message in SoMachine Basic: I/O expansion configured but is absent or inoperative. I/O expansion bus is not started.
Since then ERR LED is always blinking. I already tried deleting program, updating firmware, removing expansion module in configuration page, removing/adding physical module, selected module as Optional, removing battery - nothing helped. If I try removing application, ERR LED is still blinking. Seems like I can't delete previous program, something like config file is burned into PLC.
On the other hand: if I write some simple program, PLC works fine. It turns on/off relays correctly. Just expansion bus is not working. It is not working even if it's not configured or attached physically to PLC.
Can anybody please help me? It is really frustrating.
