PL7-07 Software (Program Compare)
Hi all,
I am working at a company that has a paint booth that is rather outdated. It has 10 robots in the booth and the safety circuit for each robot is controlled by a Modicon Nano TSX PLC. I have managed to successfully download the programs with the PL7-07 software (managed to do it on a laptop with window XP). We have some back up programs that were taken roughly 4 years ago and I would like to load them both up on the software and compare them. Is this function possible and if so how do I do it?

Problem with an M238 controller
Hello,
I am studying automation in France, I have an automated system project with a TM238LFDC24DT controller I have to present the system next week and I have two problems:
The first problem is the communication between the hmi HMIS5T and the PLC, it is impossible to perform a multiple download.
The COM port of the hmi is connected to the Serial Line 2 of the controller.
I can not get the communication parameter page at all by clicking on the controller in Somachine V4.1.
The second problem comes from the Twido module TWDNOI10M3, the FLT LED is on, all the ASi interfaces are on the No data exchange, Address' 0 'and Slave is disconnected, beacause slave 1 = address'1'.
The interfaces come from bihl-wiedemann, I have 6 interfaces 6 inputs reference BW2651 and 2 interface 4 outputs reference BW2713. They are not present in the list of devices in Somachine V4.1, we were advised to add them with profile parameter 0a7e and profile 7ffe except that I did not find how and where to set its parameters.

TSX T407 - question on Printer capability
Hello,
Does anyone know of a compatible printer for the TSX T407?
An old PLC conversion is coming up - need to convert a system with 1 x TSX 47-40 as master looking at 4 x TSX 17-24012 slaves.
I have the TSX T407 10 Programmer w. language module TSX TS4 50F (french) for the TSX17 PL7.2 - also have the TSX 17ACC7 adapter for TSX17/ TSX T407 communication and the TSX CTC03 cable (9pin -> 15pin) - communication works well.. even if language is French.
For the conversion and instead of handwriting rung by rung, I would like to Print the TSX17 program logic. I see there is both a 'Transfer to Printer' option in the Programmer and what seems to be a Parallel Port - however initial attempt to print to an old printer failed. I take certain protocol is needed in the printer.
Bonus Question:
For the TSX 47-40 I assume I need to acquire the TSX-TS4-21E language module for TSX 47-40? Anything else to talk to this old sweetheart? Same adapter and cable for the TSX17 works?

When I plugged, it connects with PLC and I have set address perfectly and I tested the communication it shows you communicate successfully with target. After I upload the program, transfer prohect from PLC is in disable condition. How should it rectified

Configuration of the serial RTU communication between BMX NOR 0200H and Modeme Schnieder
Hello everyone, I have difficulty to setting up the GSM configuration or the serial RTU configuration so that I allow you with another RTU. I use Schneider CPU Modicon M340 in conjunction with RTU communication NOR0200H and a Modem Schneider SR02 MOD02. PL7 printouts
Printout PL7 programs.
I used to work for a company which used PL7 V4.5 programs, and I have some software (.stx), which I would like to printout just to view for reference.
I don't want to buy PL7 as it cost's a fortune, and I am not sure if PL7 can be downloaded so cannot utilize a trial period - is this true?.
Does anyone know how I can just view the software?, or even a service to convert the software to, say, PDF?

Help needed with new Altivar 630 VFD
We are a machine builder. Old customer requests programmed drives to replace failed Altivar 61 drives. Latest model is Altivar 630. Past engineers did not fully document all the parameter changes. I have read through all of the Schneider literature I could find, but have not found explanation of how the parameters all work together.
Somewhat of a simple application, with the two VFDs running an AC fan motor. Not networked. (2) logic inputs, (2) analog inputs.
I believe LI1 ON will put into RUN mode, loss of LI1 puts into STOP mode. RUN mode uses analog AI1 value for scaling speed command.
The tricky part...analog AI2 is to overcome speed command of AI1 depending on voltage level. The command switching I have not figured out.

Vijeo XD doubt
Hi there,
I have an HMISTO735 and I want to connect it to an Allen Bradley Micro820, and I'm wondering if Vijeo XD is able to communicate between both of the devices.
Because despite that the Micro800 series are not featured in the Supported Devices from the Maker List under Rockwell Automation, you can in fact add a device name "EtherNet/IP" in Vijeo XD under the Rockwell Automation devices Library.
If it is possible, how can I do it? I am unable to see the Symbol list (I think that Micro800 series do not store them under *.L5k files)

Modbus comms between Schneider and allen Bradley
Hi all,
currently as part of a project I am trying to communicate between a Schneider M340 plc and an Allen Bradley micrologix processor. I am programming the M340 and the micrologix has been installed by another supplier. they have mapped the Modbus registers on their side and given me a spreadsheet with these.
I am able to read values with no issue but I cannot write values back. i've included a screenshot or the read_var and write_var instructions I am using.
I would really appreciate any help if anyone has any insight on this

I also need to receive bits from the clp (pump status, defect, etc ...) and I need to send bit's command (connect pump, turn off pump, open valve, etc ...), but I can not, you Can send me a configuration of how to do this, since we have many of these clp installed, and we are not getting it.

M340 - Inspecting a running FB
Hi All,
I'm still quite new to Unity and Modicon PLCs. I have a PLC program running in simulation mode for development/test and I'd like to follow the logic inside a running block. I can't seem to just double click the function block while online to see it's 'inside' logic.
Is there a way to inspect the inside of a running function block? How can I check and diagnose the logic a running function block?
